I had a wonderful stay at this mountain-top accommodation. the staff was friendly and multilingual, which made it convenient from abroad. the half-board food, including dinner and breakfast, was excellent. I enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from both the restaurant terrace and my room window. It was also very convenient to have direct access to the cable car station. the beds were comfortable, the bathroom facilities were clean, and there were plenty of hiking opportunities just outside the accommodations. Observing chamois and marmots was an added bonus. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.

The location of the hotel is truly unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. the rooms are clean and spacious, offering comfortable beds and cozy down pillows. the staff are friendly and accommodating, even providing meals outside of regular kitchen hours. the cable car access allows for a peaceful and secluded stay, especially in the early mornings and evenings. the hotel also offers a variety of facilities, such as a cliff walk and hiking trails, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities.
The showers can sometimes be a bit dirty due to inconsiderate guests, but this is not the fault of the staff.

We chose this apartment for its amazing location. Being able to hike in solitude after 4pm, away from the rush of tourists, was a fantastic perk. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the beds were comfortable. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast and dinner were delicious. The view from the apartment was also breathtaking, especially the skywalk near the hotel deck. Access to Eggihorn Mt. via the first cable car uphill was very convenient.
For us, the location was ideal.

The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the middle of the mountains. The staff were always helpful and on hand.- The views from the hotel were breathtaking, especially in the morning before other tourists arrived.- The breakfast offered a nice continental buffet selection.
The hotel can only be accessed via cable car, which may limit activities at night. The last cable car going up is at 5:30pm, which can be inconvenient for evening plans.

Breakfast was excellent with a variety of bread, spreads, cold cuts, cereals, and hot drinks. Being able to head out to the trails before everyone else on the first cable car was a great experience. the male staff member who spoke better English was kind and gave me a tour of the place, explaining the codes and rules. the female staff were friendly during dinner. the shower was great and the cleaning ladies were cheerful and helpful. Stargazing at night was a treat, especially if you're from an area with light pollution. a great place to stay overnight. Cons: Nothing bad to say 😊.

We had a fantastic stay at the scenic Berggasthaus First. The location, accessible only by cable car, provided amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable, with towels provided. The dinner menu was delicious and reasonably priced, and vegetarian options were available. The staff were kind and friendly, making our experience nice.
The lack of WiFi in the room was a minor inconvenience, and it would have been nice to have a kettle to make hot drinks before our hike.

Unbeatable location! Being up in the mountains with stunning views and having the place to yourself once the cable car stops running is a true privilege. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly and served delicious meals. Breakfast and dinner were both a treat, and the continental buffet breakfast was especially enjoyable.
The cost of the cable car tickets can add up if you're planning on going up and down regularly during your stay. If you're wanting to explore the surrounding valleys, the limited timetable of the gondola down to town may be inconvenient.

We were able to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings without the usual crowds, which made it even more special. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the beds were comfortable with exceptional views.
The breakfast options were quite limited considering the remote location. Another downside was that the waitress initially told me that coffee was included, but then I was charged for it.

Don't have any issues at all.
